What is being said to be Kim Kardashian's interview with the police directly following her paris robbery has been leaked. The interview was published in French paper, Le Journal du Dimanche, and translated into English by WWD, and it contains information previously unknown to the public. The six-page document includes a step-by-step account of what happened to Kim the night of the robbery.

• As she tells it, in the early morning hours of October 3rd, Kim heard steps outside of her apartment and called out. When nobody responded, she called her bodyguard at 2:46 a.m. Immediately following that call, two masked men in police jackets entered her room and tied her up. One man, wearing ski googles, asked for her ring. She acted like she didn't know what he was talking about, but when he produced a weapon, she pointed to her $4 million Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring on nearby table.

“He pointed the weapon at me. He took the ring. He was wearing gloves. He asked me where the jewelry and money was,” Kim is quoted as saying. “They grabbed me and took me to the entrance hall. I was wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath. We then went back to the room and they pushed me onto the bed. That’s when they tied me with plastic cables and sticky tape on the hands, then they taped my mouth and legs. They carried me to my bathroom, to my bathtub to be precise,” she continued. Kim added that amongst the items stolen were two diamond bracelets; a gold and diamond necklace and a diamond-studded cross; a Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklace and diamond earrings; a yellow gold Rolex watch, and a necklace with Saint's name spelled out in diamonds. At the time of the report, she valued the stolen goods at around $5 million (half the $10 million previously reported). Chris Brown Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting a Woman With a Deadly Weapon

An investigation is underway into a report that Chris Brown threatened a woman with a gun. The Los Angeles Times reports that LAPD were called to Brown’s residence in Tarzana, California, after a woman placed a 911 call around 3 a.m. local time saying Brown had “pointed a gun at her during a violent rage.”
According to TMZ , Brown was in his home at the time of the incident with singer Ray J, who was allegedly getting a tattoo there, when “uninvited guests” entered Brown’s house. TMZ says the woman who made the 911 call was one of the uninvited guests whom Brown asked to leave. Ray J was also reportedly handcuffed briefly by police when he tried to leave Brown’s home and had his car seized “as evidence.” TMZ reports that, after obtaining a search warrant, police found “at least one gun, other weapons, and drugs” in Brown’s home; Brown allegedly threw a duffel bag out of his window.
Meanwhile, Brown had posted videos on Instagram saying he “just woke up” — he calls the allegations “fucked up.”

Update: According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Lt. Chris Ramirez told The Hollywood Reporter that several people were escorted out of the Brown residence after a search warrant was carried out on Tuesday afternoon, but gave no further information about the woman who made the initial call to police at 3 a.m. this morning.

Rio Olympics 2016: Usain Bolt wins 200m gold, his eighth Olympic gold

World’s fastest man, Usain Bolt won gold in the Rio Olympics 200m event. This is his third consecutive win after taking the title in 2008 and 2012.

With this win, Bolt keeps his hopes alive to get a “triple triple” (100m, 200m, and 4X400m relay), having won gold in these events in the last two Olympic games.

The Jamaican ran the 200 in 19.78 seconds. This win brings his career gold medal tally to eight, including his 100 victory on Sunday.

Bolt declared the race his last individual race at the Olympics ahead of his retirement next year.

“I don’t need to prove anything else. What else can I do to prove to the world I am the greatest? I am trying to be one of the greatest. Be amongMuhammad Ali and Pelé. I hope to be in that bracket after these Games,” he said

Court Turns Down Ekiti Govt’s Motion to Stop Probe of Accounts by EFCC

An Ekiti State High Court in Ado Ekiti on Thursday declined to grant an ex-parte order sought by the Ekiti state government to restrain the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from investigating the finances of the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria,(NAN) reports that Justice Cornelius Akintayorefused to grant the order on the grounds that all the defendants in the case must first be put on notice to enable them prepare for their defence at the court.

The judge consequently adjourned the suit to August 23 and ordered all parties in the suit to appear before him when the motion on notice would be heard.

The suit was filed by Ekiti State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice,Owoseni Ajayi, to stop the impending investigation of the accounts of the state government by the anti graft agency.

Another relief sought by the plaintiffs was an order stopping the arrest of the Commissioner for Finance, Accountant-General, and the managers of the banks in which the state has commitments.

Commenting on the ruling,, a legal practitioner, Kolade Ilesanmi, who came for another matter in the same court commended Justice Akintayo for rejecting the motion to prevent the anti-graft agencies from investigating Ekiti government accounts.

“Myself and another counsel, Abubakar Ajibade, are here in the same court for different matters but we stood up as friends of the Court and commend the judge for the ruling.

We also adverted the minds of the Court to similar case before the Akwa Ibom High Court in which the judge granted a motion exparte which has now landed him trouble with the National Judicial Council (NJC).

From the legal point of view, any matter involving federal institutions is usually heard by the Federal High Court save for the matters that border on Fundamental Rights enforcement in which both the Federal High Courts and State High Courts are seized with jurisdiction,” he said
